Prep Time: Five Minutes
Total Time: 30 Minutes or Less
1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
2 tbsp butter or margarine
Dash of cinnamon (optional)
1 tbsp cornstarch
In a small heavy saucepan, place above ingredients and cook over medium-high heat while boiling. Stir and mash berries while cooking. Reduce heat to medium-low and continue cooking just until it begins to thicken. Remove from heat.
